Vietnam’s FV Hospital has invested nearly $7.7m (VND 200b) to adopt Accuray’s CyberKnife S7 Robotic Radiosurgery System for non-invasive cancer treatment.
The system features a flexible robotic arm and integrates artificial intelligence to precisely track and destroy tumours across the body.
The technology is designed to treat complex cancers that are challenging to target with conventional radiotherapy, including tumours in the brain, liver, pancreas, spinal cord, and breast, as well as gynecologic cancers.
Moreover, it can treat benign tumours, brain vascular malformations, difficult cardiac arrhythmias, and particularly recurrent tumours that cannot be surgically removed.
